Overview And Experience

In 1992, Dr. Elkholy began his residency at Brooklyn/New York University Hospital. From 1993 to 1996, he was a resident at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. From 1996 to 1997, he completed his pain management fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Elkholy has a passion for helping others in need. Adept in providing optimal patient care while striving to help patients achieve their healthiest, pain-free life. Able to communicate well with patients and families. He is committed to staying up-to-date regarding medicine and wellness and aiming to provide patients with the highest level of care, and bringing forth dedication, skill, and the desire to impact the lives of others positively.

He became an Assistant Professor at Yale University School of Medicine (1997-2000), teaching residents and fellows pain management, anesthesia, and acupuncture. He became director of the Pain Management Center at VA Hospital Yale University from 1997-2000. Over the last fourteen years, he has been in private practice performing pain management, acupuncture & anesthesia. He has over 25 years of experience. After leaving Yale University as an assistant professor, he was honored to stay on board as a Clinical Assistant Professor from 2000-2002. Dr. Elkholy has various publications and abstracts.
